I apologize for not being in the camp of people who didn’t like Batman v Superman. The movie was beyond what I thought it would be. The fact of the matter is that DC’s ‘B’ and ‘C’ level characters don’t hold weight like Marvels. The depth that Marvel has given to their characters and stories always gives an unpopular hero or villain in one generation to become popular in another. For DC, if your main characters like Batman, Wonderwoman, Flash, and the big man himself Superman lose popularity then the entire DC tent folds. It’s also the main reason why the DC comics universe is always hard to reboot.
After watching trailers for the upcoming season 3 of Killer Instinct on the Xbox One I had this nagging feeling of seeing Kim Wu’s stage before. For whatever reason I couldn’t place where and why. My mind had to wonder back into childhood for all my kung fu, ninja movie, and […]
The rush to Christmas this year has less to do with gifts, and a winter vacation. No, no this year it is all about Stars Wars “A Force Awakens” hitting theaters. Bottom line several years ago when it was said that J.J. Abrams was on board to helm the new Stars wars movies, and create […]
No Man‘s Sky is without a doubt one of the most anticipated titles of this young 5th generation of gaming. Hello Game’s has managed to turn the word indie developer into one that screams quality as much as non-conformity. Ambitious in every way imaginable, at the same time accessible and foreign in it’s development and […]
Make no mistake about it Halo 5 has to be epic. Out the gate Microsoft, and 343 Industries must firmly establish that Halo 4 was not a fluke or some aberration built upon the mystic of what Halo was; rather what it can evolve into. The type of franchise that no longer is lead by […]

So besides the fact that College Football kicked off the first annual college championship game after a 4 team playoff. It was also the night where dope commercials aired. Did I expect this to happen no. It didn’t occur to me that the blood sucking of college players would now be multiplied by treating […]
Arnold is back in a new Terminator movie. I could say out loud that damn, he’s old, and why? Then I ask myself why hating on something that has an amazing trailer to shock you into actually giving it a chance. Yeah…Why not?
History channels “Vikings” series has for the past two seasons been a remarkable jewel in the famed cable networks television schedule. Offering up a different and much more scripted look at history. Vikings is a take no prisioner show that is not afraid to show the gritty, bloody, and thirst to pillage from this historical […]
Released back in November of 2013 I thought it was high time this site gave some love to Terminal FX for their VFX Show reel. To be honest even when working on projects where I’m looking for artists. I never get tired of looking at reels from them. You can get a good idea of […]
One of the most famed directors of our generation continues his domination of everything cinematic. Usually in the director role, Guillermo del Toro places his producer hat on; spearheading the efforts of director Jorge Gutierrez. The two combine to create an animated comedy with a unique visual style. Titled “THE BOOK OF LIFE”; we follow […]
Marvel released a nice video several days ago (August 1st to be exact) that takes us back to their set up of the Marvel movie universe. Marvel called it Phase 1 & 2. Yes, it is short on a poetic, catch moniker, but it exactly fits the methodically, and pragmatic approach Marvel took to stepping […]
Directed by David Rosenbaum, “The Trail’s End“, is a Sci-f perspective re-telling of the prologue of Bonnie & Clyde. It’s a fascinating range of a project, especially when you think about the subject matter. On the final day of his life, an android has an unexpected encounter that alters the course of his existence ending one chapter […]
Two months ago Patrick Kalyn released his new short movie, Mech : Human Trials. The movie has been doing well with audience’s becoming a cult classic in the making. Patrick has a really high quality story telling aesthetic, similar to Luc Besson if you will allow me the liberal comparison. Synopsis of the movie; After […]
Published back in April “THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN : BABY-ME” ad for Evian water didn’t get the same traction that many of the other movie-tie in promotions got. Nonetheless it was a pretty cool spot. Not so much for the commercial itself, but rather the CG artwork and executed concept that went into the creative. We […]
